On a cold Saturday morning at 7am we started our training, an experience I will never forget.  A day to live the life of a fireman.  We were fitted with turnout gear, wear an air mask with both about 100 lbs of gear.  I conducted forced entry (my sore chest can attest to that), advanced hose lines and ladders to second floor fires, conducted victim search, experienced heat and flash overs and more.  I will be sore for the next few days, maybe a week.  Intense!!  Had two great handlers making sure I was safe.  While enjoying the process with Councilman Hinterlong.  Understanding the job of our employees.
